Description

Purity can be thought of in two main ways. The first is connected with morality and ethics; the state of keeping oneself pure in mind and body. The moral core of an individual is the extent to which that person will apply his notions of morality. It is centred on the individual but can be extended to include other people or groups. The individual sees these others within the moral core as deserving to be treated in the same way as the individual personally wants to be treated.
The other meaning is connected with cleanliness, i.e. the absence of dirt, including dust, stains, bad smells and clutter. Purposes of cleanliness include health, beauty, absence of offensive odour, avoidance of shame, and to avoid the spreading of dirt and contaminants to oneself and others. “Cleanliness is next to Godliness” is a well known term.
Purity is often sought in our surroundings. The cleanliness of white linen sheets, the first fresh dew of the morning, the innocence of a new born child, the untouched sand where the sea has washed, the beauty of a perfect rosebud all reach out and touch our souls.
These herbs are blended in India using traditional Ayurvedic recipes. Ayurvedic medicaments are made from herbs or mixtures of herbs, either alone or in combination with minerals, metals and other ingredients. The ingredients used in this blend are Basil, Cinnamon, Bay, Cedar, Chamomile, Lily, Parsley, Valerian Root and Vervain.
