The most common use for Pine is for bronchitis, catarrh, sore throat and infections of the chest. Good in steam inhalations. Also try it for digestive problems.

Origin: It is very important to know the source of the Pine which you are using and the best quality Pine oil is considered to come from as far north as possible. The oil is produced by dry distillation of the needles and sometimes the young twigs and cones. The essential oil is very pale yellow with a strong aroma

Sources: Pine comes mainly from south-east Africa although it is native to Indonesia.

Genito-urinary system: It is good for cystitis, urethritis and leucorrhoea.

Respiratory system: Perhaps the most common use for Pine oil is in conditions such as bronchitis, catarrh, sinusitis, throat infections and it is considered as being a great help with pneumonia and other lung infections. It acts as an expectorant and can be used to great effect in steam inhalations

Digestive System: Pine can help with flatulence, ingestion, piles and sluggish digestion.

 Mixing Oils: It blends well with Eucalyptus and Tea Tree
