Description

The scent of oranges is very familiar but greatly loved and is a fresh potent scent.
Orange—specifically, sweet orange—refers to the citrus tree Citrus sinensis and its fruit. The orange is a hybrid of ancient cultivated origin, possibly between pomelo and tangerine It is a small flowering tree growing to about 10 metres tall with evergreen leaves, which are arranged alternately. The orange fruit is a type of berry.
The word "orange" originally comes from the Sanskrit narang or Tamil “Orangu”. The fruit typically has 11 individual segments and the translation of the Tamil word is "6 and 5" (equalling 11). Oranges originated in southeast Asia, in either India, Vietnam or southern China.. In a number of languages, it is known as a "Chinese apple" (e.g. Dutch Sinaasappel, "China's apple"). It was first introduced to England in the 14th century. The Valencia type was chosen to be the official mascot of the 1982 FIFA World Cup, which was held in Spain. The mascot was called "Naranjito" ("little orange"), and wore the colours of the Spanish soccer team uniform.

This incense is made in Thailand and fragranced in the UK to a high standard. The incense is then hand crafted in natural look brown paper.
