Clarity of mind and remembering detail is an important part of getting on in the world and there are a selection of essential oils which can help to stimulate and provoke the memory. Rosemary is perhaps the most famous one "Rosemary for rememberance" is an old fashioned saying but based in much truth. Rosemary and Basil are valuable for mental clarity and can help the barin to be more alert. If you need to calm the mind prior to a stressful period (say an exam or interview) try using Jasmine, Rose or Neroli the night before.

Another aspect which may affect our ability to succeed is our self image and the way we perceive ourselves. The right amount of confidence is required. To enhance confidence for women try Rose  and Jasmine oils. For men try Clary Sage  and Cedarwood.
