Description
The words harmony and peace are closely associated in meaning. The absence of hostility and the ability to relate and harmonise with oneself and others lies at the very essence of the word harmony. Peace is the opposite of war and in order to achieve this people need to live in harmony with themselves and with each other. Relationships characterised by respect, justice, and goodwill all enhance harmony.
In its most apocalyptic sense, peace denotes a state of complete and final harmony, an end to conflict not only within the human race but between humanity and the natural world. This vision anticipates complete harmony in the future, during this lifetime or in an afterlife, often as initiated by God or some higher power(s), or even as achievable exclusively by human effort.
Feeling at peace within oneself is a necessary part of being able to find harmony with others and the link between mind and body forms part of this process. The associations of aromas with situations is a key part of aromatherapy. Marjoram is used in this oil blend for its warming effect on the mental and emotional level and its reputation for brining comfort. Rosemary is reputed to clear the head and thus promote clear thinking, so when relationships become strained and no clear path can be discerned to regain harmony, this oil can aid the process. Geranium is reputed to be anti depressant, to have a balancing effect on the emotions, to uplift the spirit and to open the heart. Regent House makes no medicinal claims for this blend of oil and it is important to read the warning before use. This product can be used diluted as a massage oil, neat in the bath or is perhaps best used burning in an oil burner.

Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile liquid plant material, known as essential oils and other scented compounds from plants for the purpose of affecting a person's mood or health. Aromatherapy is a generic term that refers to any of the various traditions that make use of essential oils sometimes in combination with other alternative medical practices and spiritual beliefs. It has a particularly Western currency and persuasion. Medical treatment involving aromatic scents may exist outside of the West, but may or may not be included in the term 'aromatherapy'.
