Essential Oils - Aromatherapy
Aromatherapy is a form of alternative medicine that uses volatile liquid plant material, known as essential oils and other scented compounds from plants for the purpose of affecting a person's mood or health. Essential Oils are sold by many companies in the UK and at Think Aromatherapy we believe that our essential oils represent excellent value for money. All the essential oils with the exception of Lavender, Teatree and Manuka must be diluted in a carrier oil or cream before use. Some essential oils can be unsafe to use if you have a medical condition or are pregnant so at Think Aromatherapy we strongly advise you to read the warning before use.
Every essential oil is packaged in an individual box with an information sheet which gives the main uses of that essential oil and also brief information about the use of essential oils. The information sheet also gives a list of other oils which combine well to make a blend.

Aromatherapy is a generic term that refers to any of the various traditions that make use of essential oils sometimes in combination with other alternative medical practices and spiritual beliefs. It has a particularly Western currency and persuasion. Medical treatment involving aromatic scents may exist outside of the West, but may or may not be included in the term 'aromatherapy'.
