Energy in spirituality, refers to a widespread belief in inter-personal forces, for which no empirical evidence has yet been found. Believers assume spiritual energy to be of a different type than those known to science, and therapies involved are often classed as alternative medicine.
"Energy therapies" are typically based on the premise that, since energy is considered to be all pervasive, therefore methods can exist whereby energy is manipulated in order to heal the human body, even though the present knowledge of science may not be sufficient to understand it. Practitioners of such techniques, who claim the ability to heal the human body, hold this belief. Various forms of mysticism often associate "bad energy" with disease, and "good energy" with healing powers. Most theories claim the ability to actively influence one's "energy." Reiki in Japanese culture claims to manipulate the qi (ki) through the laying-on of hands. Other methods like Yuen purport to transmit "energetic force" without physical contact. Rasayana Tantra (the science of rejuvenation) deals with maintaining longevity, intellectual behaviour, rejuvenating the body and general health. The basic motive of Ayurveda is to keep the healthy person healthy and to cure the ill.
These herbs are blended in India using traditional Ayurvedic recipes. Ayurvedic medicaments are made from herbs or mixtures of herbs, either alone or in combination with minerals, metals and other ingredients. The ingredients used in this blend are Cloves, Aloe Vera, Fenugreek and Withania Somnifera.
