Aromatherapy Treatments:

Aromatherapy massage is not only relaxing and enjoyable but certain essential oils have benefits for the person who needs to increase in energy and be strengthened. If massage is not available then aromatic baths using these oils can also benefit. Lemon and Thyme essential oils can help to strengthen and are beneficial in convalescing. Grapefruit and Rosemary are two excellent oils to try.

Rosemary essential oil is tonic and gently stimulating whilst Grapefruit can be helpful for stimulating the appetite and lifting the slight depression that is common during convalescence. If surgery has occurred then certain essential oils can help wounds and scars. Once the actual wound has healed then baths using Lavender and Neroli essential oils can help the skin to heal.

Adequate rest and excellent nutrition are very important in the healing process. Many people will benefit from using vitamin and mineral supplements and ginseng is one that is recommended.
