Description

Cannabis scent is a potent musky fragrance. Cannabis is a flowering herb. Cannabis usually has imperfect flowers with staminate "male" and pistillate "female" flowers occurring on separate plants. In ancient Germanic culture cannabis was associated with the Germanic love goddess Freya. The harvesting of the plant was connected with an erotic high festival. It was believed that Freya lived as a fertile force in the plant's feminine flowers and by ingesting them one became influenced by this divine force. According to some scholars, cannabis was an ingredient of holy anointing oil mentioned in various sacred Hebrew texts. Cannabis is believed to have been used in India as early as 1000 B.C. During the Hindu festival of Holi, people consume a drink called bhang which contains cannabis flowers.

This incense is made in Thailand and fragranced in the UK to a high standard. The incense is then hand crafted in natural look brown paper.
