Category: Essential Oils
For acute pain try using an aromatherapy compress. You can alternate compresses, first a hot one, then a very cold one or depending on the type of pain use either heat or cold. Inflammed areas can often benefit from cold where if you have joint stiffness or arthritic pain warmth can be soothing.
If you want to try alternating then get two normal bowls and add a teaspoon of normal table salt with 6 drops of essential oil. Fill one with warm water and the other with cold water and two ice cubes. Get a towel for each bowl and did into the water squeezing nearly dry before applying to the correct area.
Here are one or two suggestions for different types of pain.
