Description
Rollerballs are a quick method of applying oil to the skin. They are small, compact and easy to carry around with you either in your pocket or handbag. Just unscrew the top and roll some of the oil into your skin.
In every area of health ranging from nutrition to the treatment of injuries, as the knowledge of the human body has deepened over time, an athlete's potential has been increased. Athletes are now able to play to an older age, recover more quickly from injuries and train more effectively than previous generations of athletes.
Exercise is often recommended as a means of improving motor skills, fitness, muscle and bone strength, and joint function. Exercise has several effects upon muscles, connective tissue, bone, and the nerves that stimulate the muscles. However muscle soreness and pain or discomfort may be felt one to three days after exercising. Once thought to be caused by lactic acid buildup, a more recent theory is that it is caused by tiny tears in the muscle fibres or unaccustomed training levels.

Aftersport oil has been developed using a variety of essential oils reputed to be beneficial for treating a variety of muscle aches and pains. Rosemary is said to be good for treating tired, stiff and overworked muscles and therefore can be excellent for sports people are those involved in very physical work.  It can also help with poor circulation. When Eucalyptus is used as a massage it can help to relieve the pain of rheumatism, muscular aches and fibrositis. Peppermint can be used to assist cooling for muscles which are hot and overworked.  Black Pepper is as you would expect warming oil and the main use for which it is known is in massage blends for muscular pain, stiffness and fatigue. This oil is best used as soon as possible after exercise and on a regular basis. It can also assist in sports injuries and sprains.
Regent House makes no medicinal claims for this blend of oil and it is important to read the warning before use.
